Seeking any information on Walker family believed lived in Downham Way. Male Walker believed to have died about 1970?

Notable Downham Residents (past and present!) / Walkers in downham way Bromley

trying to track down Jack or John Walker married to Kate in 1923 and living in Downham Way. Jack/John is supported to have died about 30 years ago (say 1980) but I have been unable to find a death. But there is one in 1974. Can anyone remember the family. There was a son John who would be in his 70's or 80's now.
