Title: The young 60 yr old Brenda
Post by: maureen on March 20, 2006, 02:57:53 PM
Hiya Brenda, which school did you go to when you were in Downham, as I'm 60 next year maybe we know one another or may have had the same friends or neighbours. I went to Churchdown 1958-1963.

Hiya Dickie, sadly no both parents are no longer with us. We lived in Shroffold Road from about 1957-1978 and then my parents moved to Sandpit, where they spent the rest of their lives. My youngest brother Graham went to Mallory (he' 55) and Michael went to Downham Boys (he's 57). Maybe your son might know them. Pick was our family name.

Hi Maureen
I was at Churchdown from 1955 - 1960.  What has happened to the old school now, does anyone know?

You must think me very rude for not replying, Maureen.  Apologies. I'm afraid I tend to forget this part of the site and ignore it for weeks on end until the penny drops again.

I went to Churchdown School but left in April 1959.  It is quite possible our paths crossed at some point, of course.
