Went to see a stage adaptation of Nina Bawden's brilliant wartime novel "Carrie's War" last night. I hadn't realised she was still alive! (Nina Bawden that is)

I remember hearing about this when I was living in England. Over time story's can be distorted, but the facts are there, even if the pilot had too drop his bombs to fly faster why was the children strafed in the play ground?.  Smiffy
