Shroffold Road

I often read Shroffold Road mentioned on the site. Did anybody live near 306. I lived there from approx. 1946 to 1960. Coming down Ballamore past The Green we turned left and lived  just past a lady known as " mad Alice ". Some neighbours were Hearns, Simmonds, Two lots of Whites not related, Gosbee, Minster, Lloyd, Carter and up the road a bit were the Heeneys, two lots of Fox,s again not related Waterhouse, Hodges and the Jacksons.

 I also responded about a girl named Carole Phillips who was a friend of my wife's, does anybody know where she is now ?.

My wife lived at 57 Ballamore Road anybody from that area.

Yes, I remember your query about Carole Phillips who was one of my neighbours.  She was a really nice girl.  She moved away after her parents died but I don't know where she went and never heard of her again.  If you ever come across her, please let me know, I'd love to say 'hallo' to her.
