Looking for somewhere to hold a meeting or family event? We have community rooms and halls available for private hire. All of our centres are available for hire from 9am to 11pm Monday to Saturday, and from 9am to 9pm on Sundays.

Our centres:

Haskins Community Hall, one room, up to 25 people.
Hazelhurst Court Community Hall, two rooms, up to 60 people.
The Meadows Community Centre, two halls, up to 100 people.
Grovehill Court Clubroom, one room, up to 30 people.
Langthorne Community Hall,one room, up to 25 people.
Ravensbourne Community Centre, up to 100 people.
The Barn at The Green Man, up to 70 people.

Hire charges start from £20 per hour. We offer a concessionary rate of £15 per hour to Phoenix residents. Please complete our online booking form if you would like to hire one of our community centres.

Whatever your level of experience, we welcome Phoenix residents to join us for FREE IT training and support to get online! We are offering three different short courses, delivered by Eco Communities, that will each run twice in March.

Courses will run at The Green Man from 5.30-8.30pm as follows:
Monday 17 March - IT for beginners
Wednesday 19 March - Job search in the digital age
Thursday 20 March - Word and Excel for beginners
Monday 24 March - IT for beginners
Wednesday 26 March - Job search in the digital age
Thursday 27 March - Word and Excel for beginners

On completing the course, you will receive a free voucher from Eco Communities that will enable you to purchase a reconditioned desktop for just £50 or reconditioned laptop for £80.

All Phoenix residents are invited to enjoy a Victorian funfair and vote for their favourite bids to our new Community Chest fund at a special event on Saturday 2 November.

The Community Gathering will take place from 11am to 4pm at The Green Man, 355 Bromley Road, SE6 2RP, and residents will be able to tour the new landmark development ahead of its official opening in December this year.

Free burgers and hotdogs will be on offer, along with toffee apples, a coconut shy and much more.

You will also be able to learn more about local training and jobs, and speak to representatives from Lewisham and Southwark Business Advisory Service, Lewisham Plus Credit Union and the Citizens Advice Bureau.

A new membership reward scheme with London's first resident-owned housing association has hit its first milestone of over 1,000 members. Prizes were presented to the five residents who achieved the ‘model tenant' status through the Phoenix Gold Club Scheme.
