Downham Fayre - 15 July 2000
The annual Downham Fayre was a real success, and the weather just about held
- after a week of rain, the sun managed to break through a few times, and
although it was a little chilly and windy, it didn't dampen the enthusiasm of
around 700 locals who turned out for a great afternoon. Here's a photo gallery
from the day - click for a larger version of each picture.

Welcome to the fayre! |

Take that! |

If only England had this guy for penalty shoot outs... |

Aim...fire |

It's a hit! |

Celebrate! |

Roll up... |

This young lady won a prize for her great dancing |

Under-age driver... |

The Fire Engine was a big hit, as always |

Fortunately they weren't needed to put out Paul's juggling! |

Another under-age driver |

Do you know this man? He is wanted for wandering around all
afternoon, eating Mars Bars and drinking tea |

Would you buy a used toy car from this woman? |

"I want to make sure my Mum won't recognise me..." |
Thanks to everyone who came along, and to those who helped make the day so
enjoyable. All of the proceeds are going to Downham Pride. See you next year!
