Downham
is well-served with good local pubs, cafes, takeaways and restaurants.
Particularly
on the busy Bromley Road, with the row of shops on the left as you come down the
hill out of Bromley into Downham, there is a good concentration of takeaways and
restaurants.
Continuing along Bromley Road through Downham,
there are several places to eat, including the latest addition,
converted from what was the Garden Gate pub, but is now McDonalds.
At
the top of Downham Way, there is the new Downham Tavern (the original Tavern was
in the Guinness Book of Records as the pub with the longest bar in the UK!), and
takeaways.
Coming soon, this section will feature more details about individual places to eat and drink, with contact details, etc. If you would like to advertise here then it's free.
Don't forget you can use the Scoot search, as well as Thompson local, on the Shops and Businesses page to search for restaurants and pubs.
